“First impression – a very deceiving location. We drove past initially but when we found the little nook entrance into waterside we were filled with a little awe and trepidation.

However on entering the house we were absolutely delighted and in awe at the beautiful surroundings and views but, more than that, the immaculately presented home. Evelyn was superb, waiting for s and explaining everything – it was clear nothing was too much trouble. From ferry trips to a visit to the local hotel, our time here was superb. Looking forward to returning next year”.

“We booked the house on the basis of customer feedback and the style/location. From the moment we opened the front door we knew we’d got it 100% right. This is a very nice house, in a perfect location with excellent views. Whilst the weather was not particularly kind (and certainly booking a week at the back end of October we didn’t expect it to be), it wasn’t all bad and sitting out on the verandah in jeans and a jumper with the obligatory glass of wine or two watching the gulls and hearing the water lapping was ultra relaxing – just what we wanted. Some of the panoramic shots I took were amazing – rain or shine, day or night. We got a sense from the other comments that the locals see a friendly bunch and that proved accurate too. Dream location and hope to get back.”

“We absolutely fell in love with the house as soon as we walked through the door. We could look at the view all day and not get bored! We caught endless mackerel off the pontoon and played golf at the Kyles of Bute Golf Club the most stunning views we have ever encountered on a golf course! We caught ferries to The Isle of Bute and to Tarbert but loved coming back to the house to relax in its unrivalled setting. Can highly recommend the Kames Hotel and the Oystercatcher for delicious food. We can’t wait to return.

It was hard to leave the relaxation of the sunroom to venture out- but we did manage a few excursions- always glad to return to the comfort of Waterside. Having the sea, the sky and the mountains just outside your window, what more can you long for? But the village was so nice too. We loved the Tearoom and Botanical and lovely walks. So many beautiful places to visit like Benmore gardens, Bute and Kintyre but always the sea and the sky. We will keep the memory of this truly magnificent place and can always remember it when we need some peace if mind”.
